Force Tonic : Use of the device

A / Positioning the machine

Force Tonic causes muscle contractions that are not always visible to the naked eye

B / Electrodes to be installed in the roof

Check that your Force Tonic machine is switched off.

→ The blanket has electrodes on which you must apply the contact cream (supplied) specially designed by SPORT-ELEC® and without hesitating on the quantity.

→ The contact cream promotes the passage of currents between the electrodes and the horse.

→ Its electro-conductive properties improve the comfort of use and the effectiveness of the stimulation.

→ Equine electrodes can be used approximately 200 times (or 6 months) before they need to be replaced.

→ Only use the contact cream supplied by SPORT-ELEC®. Feel free to order some via sport-elec.com or contact your usual dealer.

Never use the cover without cream.

Do not use any other cream than the one supplied by SPORT-ELEC®

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE of the cream

- In case of allergy, stop application of the cream and discontinue use.

- Do not swallow.

- Keep out of reach of children.

- In case of contact with eyes, rinse with water.

C / Connecting the device

Take the connectors from your box and connect them to the plugs on the cover in groups of 2, respecting the colours.

Hang the device on the cover using the sewn-in system.

D / Getting started

→ Switch on your device by following the procedure in "Switching on the device" .

→ The contractions should be firm but never cause pain.

→ Check your horse's behaviour at this time to detect them.

→ If you think pain is present, decrease the powers, move the blanket and gradually increase the power again.

→ With the settings optimised in this way, leave the machine to work for the duration of the programme.

 Choice of programme

Select the desired programme (from 1 to 8).

 Stopping the programme

When the programme is finished, switch off the appliance and unplug the connections.

Remove the cover from the unit. Clean the equine electrodes with a slightly damp cloth and leave to dry in the open air (do not store while still damp).

Do not use detergent or bleach.

 Restart a programme (optional)

It is possible to restart the cycle of a programme on another muscle area or to change the programme while remaining on the same muscle area without exceeding 40 minutes of use (of active phase) per muscle area and per day.

 Cleaning the housing

The housing and cables of the device can be cleaned with a cloth soaked in a disinfectant solution (such as Mercryl) diluted with 1/10th water.
