Sport-Elec programmes to get you on your bike:

• "Recovery of muscle volume" to be followed by "Strengthening of muscle volume": these two programmes are complementary as they will contract the muscles by waves of electrostimulation aimed at increasing muscle volume. For cyclists, the motors or modules of the Sport-Elec electrostimulation devices will be placed on the thighs and calves, which are very much in demand.
• "Muscular Resistance": this programme will help the cyclist to improve his or her muscular capacity to sustain an intense and medium-length effort such as climbing a mountain pass, which requires good physical fitness and significant muscular power.
• "Muscular Endurance": this programme stimulates the muscles through variations in current in order to sustain an effort over a longer period of time, ideal for those who do long bike rides. While lower body work is necessary for cyclists, the "Muscular Endurance" programme will strengthen the muscles of the torso, arms and abdominal muscles. These muscles of the upper body are used to maintain an ideal position to keep a constant and fast pace, while avoiding the risk of injury.
